ILO action

  • Upon receipt of article 22 reports, and without entering into substance, the Office checks to see whether the reports contain:
    (a) replies to any comments of the Committee of Experts or of the Conference Committee;
    (b) information regarding the representative organizations of employers and workers to whom copies of the reports have been sent; and
    (c) the required documentation including laws and regulations which are not otherwise available. In cases of failures in these respects, the Office sends reminders to the governments concerned.

  • Governments respond to reminders sent by the Office.
  • Governments send in late reports.
